(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday January 01, 2011 around 1 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer in Mitchell observed a fast moving vehicle on Ontario Road in Mitchell. The officer stopped the vehicle and while speaking to the driver signs of impairment were detected.
The driver was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where breath tests were conducted. As a result of these tests Andrew SIEMON (18) of the Municipality of West Perth was charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle and with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
He is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on Monday, February 28, 2011 to answer to these charges. He was also served an immediate 90 day drivers licence suspension.
