The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for impaired driving in Chatham early this morning.
Around 12:30 a.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Riverview Line. Officers located the driver asleep behind the wheel with the doors locked. Officers awakened the driver and through investigation believed that he was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
Brandon Ball, 32 years, of Paisley Court in Chatham has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He has been released pending a future court date.
