Assault

On Friday morning the police attended a Brownwood Drive residence regarding an alleged domestic incident. Once on scene the officers were told that a 28 year old male and his common-law wife had become embroiled in an argument over suspected drug use and infidelity. During the incident the male is alleged to have pushed the female to the ground. He was arrested and charged with assault. A bail hearing is to take place this afternoon.
