(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday December 20, 2013, shortly after 7:30 p.m. a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer arrived at a reported pickup truck in a ditch along Road 150 south of Hwy 8 (between Sebringville and Mitchell).
The officer determined that the pickup truck had travelled north bound on Road 150 when it left the roadway and entered into the ditch. The male who was with the truck displayed signs of impairment. The male was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment where he failed two Intoxilyzer Breath Tests.
Andrew RONEY (25) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with “care or control while impairedâ€Â, and “care or control over 80 mgsâ€Â. He will have to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Monday January 27, 2014 to answer to these charges.
