Officers of the Community Patrol Section and Traffic Management Unit continued to step up efforts to make our roads safer, with Ride programs being conducted in the Chatham area last night. A total of 550 vehicles were checked, with three (3) road side tests being administered. Officers also charged one (1) driver with driving while under suspension and made two (2) arrests. One arrest for public intoxication and the other for a driver who failed to stop for police at the roadside checkpoint.
