Barrie Police responded to a call on Dunlop Street in regards to a drunken male who seemed to be walking into traffic. The 52 year old local man was clearly in an intoxicated state and was unable to look after himself. He was arrested for his own safety and taken into custody to remain until sober. He will be released with a Provincial Offences fine to pay.
