(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On June 3, 2018, at approximately 8:45 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol on Gainsborough Road, Middlesex Centre.
The officer observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop. The officer determined that the 41-year-old, male, driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The officer demanded that the driver provide a road-side breath sample and the driver registered a FAIL”. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
