The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On November 20, 2013 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to attend the CKPS headquarters every Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to sign in. On December 15, 2013 the man failed to comply with this condition and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. the man attended police headquarters to sign in and he was arrested on the outstanding warrant. Kevin Thomas, 36 years, of Raleigh Street in Chatham was released pending a future court date.
