(ST.MARYS, ON) As a result of an intensive investigation by the Perth County OPP and with the assistance of the community, the suspicious male at Little Falls Public School has been identified. It has been determined that there is no community safety concern.
The male in question turned out to be a “good Samaritan†who saw the young girl struggling with her bag as she was walking to school. Investigation revealed that there was no vehicle involved in this incident.
This incident is however, a good reminder for parents to go over the basic street proofing rules, and have regular safety talks with their children.
The Perth County OPP also wishes to thank the St.Marys community, surrounding school boards, neighbouring police agencies and the media for their immediate support in attempting to identify and located the individual.
