(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday January 23, 2011, the Perth County OPP received a call from a person advising that her elderly mother in Listowel received a call from a male pretending to be her grandson. The male said he was incarcerated in Montreal and needed $2810 to bail him out. The elderly Listowel resident withdrew the money but fortunately did not send it.
