(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday January 24, 2011, at approximately 8:30 a.m. a collision occurred on Hwy. 7 east of James St. south of St.Marys. Three west bound vehicles were forced to make a sudden stop as a car they were following had its hood lift up. The last of the 3 vehicles was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the second last vehicle. The third and fourth vehicles pulled over and the drivers surveyed the damage. The driver and passenger of the third car after looking at the damaged rear bumper, immediately stepped back into their vehicle and left the scene turning north onto James St. South heading into St.Marys.
The Perth County OPP is requesting the driver of the red vehicle which sustained damage on the passenger side of the rear bumper and possibly the rear quarter panel to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
