On January 13 and 14, 2014 a search warrant was executed on the residence of the recent fire in New Hamburg. The fire occurred on January 11, 2014. As a result of the search, arson is now suspected and the investigation remains ongoing. On January 11, 2014, shortly after midnight, police were called to a fire at a residence in New Hamburg. Fire fighters quickly brought the blaze under control. No one was injured. Estimated damage to the property is $400,000.00. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
