The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his release conditions.
On January 9, 2014 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to obey a daily curfew between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, police responded to the area of Park Avenue East and St. George Street in Chatham in regards to a suspicious person. Officers searched the area and located a man matching the description given. Through investigation, police determined that the man was breaching his curfew condition and he was arrested.
The 18-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
