(ARTHUR, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Wellington County OPP Detachment have arrested and charged an Arthur man following a five month child pornography investigation.
On January 16, 2014 police executed a search warrant at an Arthur residence after receiving information that an individual was in possession of Child Pornography. As a result of this investigation, three computers and related computer equipment were seized containing videos of child sexual abuse.
On January 16, 2014, police arrested Arthur Robert Carter McINNES-WORSNOP, 18 years-old of Arthur and charged him with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on January 16, 2014.
The investigation is continuing.
