(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A 52 year old male is facing Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol charges following a traffic stop late last night. At approximately 10:20 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a red Toyota on William Street in Exeter. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer noted the driver had been consuming alcohol and was displaying signs that he was impaired by alcohol.
He was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician; both tests were over the legal limit.
As a result, Blaine PRYCE, 52, from South Huron, has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on March 31, 2014. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
