(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday morning, February 05, 2011, shortly before 1:30 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer observed a vehicle on Inkerman St. East and Wallace Ave. North driving without its lights on. The officer spoke to the driver and a roadside breath test was conducted which the driver failed. The male driver was transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment in Listowel where he also failed the Intoxilyzer breath test.
Seth Sikma (23) of the Municipality of North Perth was charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is to appear in Listowel Criminal Court on March 02, 2011 to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension, and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
