(WALKERTON, ON) – On January 29th, 2011 at 6:10 pm, the South Bruce OPP received an animal complaint from a female resident of Walkerton. On January 29th, 2011, she was walking home when she encountered a man walking with 2 dogs. She said hello as she passed, then the dogs lunged at her. Her jacket was ripped and she was bumped on the face, causing her lip to swell, before she got free and continued home.
The owner is described as a white male, possibly in his 40’s, with dark hair. At the time of this incident, he was dressed in a dark blue jacket and blue jeans. The dogs are a dark colour Rottweiller and a dark colour Shepherd/Collie cross. The South Bruce OPP is asking the owner to come forward to discuss this matter. Anyone with information that can assist police is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
