On January 26, 2014 at 1:00 a.m., the Guelph Police investigated another report of a female going to a home with a story of needing money to purchase a prescription for a sick child. This incident took place on Stuart Street.
The Guelph Police suggest that you do not give your money in this type of situation, instead consider the option of calling police. If the person is in a true emergency, then police can assist them.
