Barrie Police officers responded to an unwanted male at a Bayview Dr address. The officers arrived on scene and observed a heavily intoxicated male. The officers spoke to a female who identified herself as the male’s mother. She stated that the male has an severe drinking problem. When the officer proceeded to speak to the 38 yr old Barrie man he became agitated. The male was placed under arrest under the authority of the Liquor Licence Act. The male was lodged in the cell area until sober and released with a drunk ticket.
