(GODERICH, ON) – On February 20, 2011 Huron OPP officers received information of a 20 year old male party who was breaching his release conditions by being in the Town of Goderich. The male was located and arrested. While being arrested, he assaulted and resisted police officers. Upon being searched incident to his arrest, a quantity of suspected cannabis marihuana was located in his pocket.
As a result of the incident, Thomas SHEPPARD (20) of Bluewater has been charged with two counts of Breach Recognizance, one count of Assault Police with Intent to Resist Arrest and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana. He was held in police custody.
