(BRUCE TWP, ON) – Between 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm on Friday February 18th, 2011, members of the South Bruce OPP patrolled Concession 2, Bruce Township in response to public concerns about aggressive driving.
During the 90 minutes of dedicated patrol, officers identified 3 violators. A 45 year old from Bruce Township and a 45 year old from Paisley were both charged for speeding, while a 25 year old from Lucknow was charged for Fail to notify Ministry of address change. Motorists are reminded to obey the speed limit, wear a seatbelt, drive sober and use hands free if a cell call has to be made while driving.
