At approximately 7:45 p.m. the London Police Service attended the intersection of Highbury Avenue South at Glanworth Drive regarding a collision.
Two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided at the intersection.
An adult male and an adult female were transported to the London Health Sciences Centre and are both in critical condition.
Two other occupants were transported to the St. Thomas – Elgin General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Accident reconstruction crews are on scene to investigate further.
Highbury Avenue between Glanworth Drive and Manning Drive will remain closed until further notice.

A two car collision was reported on the evening of Feburary 8, 2014 in the area of Highbury Avenue and Glanworth Drive.
The adult male passenger in the Northbound vehicle was taken to the London Health Sciences Centre shortly after the collision. The male remained in critical condition until he succumbed to his injuries earlier this evening.
The investigation remains ongoing.
No identities are being released at this time.
