(BRANT TWP, ON) – On February 24th, 2011 at 3:20 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Highway 9, observed a speeding Chevrolet Cavalier. The officer signalled the driver to pull over by activating the cruiser lights and siren, but the Cavalier continued travelling along the Highway. The Cavalier finally pulled over as other police officers arrived to assist. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, the officers learned that one of the passengers was violating his probation order. A 20 year old Hanover man was arrested and charged for Breach of probation. He is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing scheduled for February 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
