(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On February 7, 2014 at 5:00 am, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered a residence along Highway 9 in Greenock Township on the strength of a search warrant.
South Bruce OPP, South Bruce OPP Crime Unit, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit and West Region Criminal Operations officers arrested 5 people without incident.
A 33 year old Brockton man has been charged with:
3 counts of Possessing a firearm while prohibited
2 counts of Possessing a controlled substance
2 counts of Possession of stolen property over $5,000
Possess a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Breach of firearms regulations
4 counts of Breach probation
2 counts of Fail to comply with recognizance
A 46 year old Brockton man has been charged with:

2 counts of Possession stolen property over $5,000

A 40 year old Huron-Kinloss woman has been charged with:

A 38 year old Brockton woman has been charged with:

The accused cannot be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Officers recovered a fully loaded assault rifle, a quantity of illegal street drugs and stolen property from the residence.
This is an isolated incident. There is no threat to public safety.
