Police were called to a Mulcaster Street residence for an early domestic assault that had occurred. When police arrived a female reported that her and her boyfriend had an argument over the use of the bathroom. When she tried to get in, her boyfriend deliberately slammed the door on her arm 3 times. When she stepped in with a foot to prevent her arm from getting hit again, the male punched her in the face and started to slam the door on her leg. She managed to get free and call 911.
Police arrested a 23 year old Barrie male for assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply with probation. He was taken to court for a bail hearing.
