(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH) – On Wednesday June 20, 2018, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on Gore Road, near Cambridge. At approximately 11:00 p.m., the driver of a grey SUV entered the RIDE check. Officer where speaking with driver when he fled in his vehicle, narrowly missing officers at the RIDE. With the assistance of Waterloo Regional Police the male and vehicle were located in Cambridge. He was arrested.
26-year-old, Ronald Rodrick Vincent DARK, of CAMBRIDGE was charged with Driving While Disqualified, Careless Driving and with Failing to Stop for Police. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on July 24, 2018.
