(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Tuesday March 08, 2011, Perth County OPP officers were called to a business on Perth Line 9 east of St.Marys where 200 litres of fuel was stolen from a fuel bulk tank.
From information obtained, it appears that around 2 a.m. Sunday March 06, 2011, a GMC older model three quarter ton extended cab pickup truck was observed on the business property near the fuel tank. The truck is described as being two tone coloured with a light coloured top and a dark bottom.

In light of the rapidly rising world oil price, the Perth County OPP would like to encourage the owners of bulk fuel tanks to lock, secure and illuminate their tanks. Fuel thefts will become a lucrative target for thieves especially in rural Perth County where there are high numbers of private fuel tanks.
