(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) conducted a joint services commercial motor vehicle traffic initiative on June 25, 2018 in Kingsville, Ontario.
A total of 51 charges relating to vehicle maintenance, driver condition and other violations were processed.
Of the 26 inspections conducted, 13 vehicles were taken out of service and 5 licence plates were seized.
The OPP will continue to work with their ministry and policing partners to identify and enforce road safety violations in Essex County.
