Man Charged with Theft

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a theft investigation.

Last month, a local construction company noticed missing tools from a work site in Chatham. On Friday, February 21, 2014, the company learned that their Bosch Hammer Drill valued at $450 was at a local pawn shop. Through investigation, police identified the man responsible for taking the drill to the pawn shop.

Jason Board, 30 years, of Sheldon Avenue in Chatham was charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
