Barrie Police were called to a south end grocery store for a report of three shoplifters who had fled the store with stolen merchandise.
Police were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle in the north end of Barrie and conducted a traffic stop.
Police were able to verify their identities and found the following:
A 33 year old female was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for Aggravated assault as well as obstruct Police and the initial theft charge.
A 39 year old male who was wanted by Toronto Police for unlawfully at large as well as the initial theft charge.
A 32 year old male who was wanted for the initial theft charge.
All three were transported to the Barrie Police Service and held for a bail hearing.
Police are continuing the investigation.
