The London Police Service will be hosting a news conference today, Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room in relation to the investigation described below. Detective Sergeant Chris McCoy will be speaking at this event.
Two males from London have been charged after $360,000 worth of cocaine and marijuana was seized.
On Friday, February 21, 2014, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrants at two residences – one on Proudfoot Lane and one on Tanner Drive.

The following items were seized:
2.9 kg cocaine – $300,000
6 kg marijuana – $60,000

2007 Ford F150 – $12,000
2009 Dodge Charger – $12,000
As a result of the investigation, 23-year-old Mustafa Hassan and a young offender male have both been charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section (2);
– Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section (2); and
– Produce a Schedule I substance, contrary to section 7(1).
