Police received several 911 calls to Edgehill Drive for an assault that had occurred. When officers arrived on scene several people were on the roadway but there was no indication of an assault.
Officers spoke with a male who was in care and control of a motor vehicle that was on the roadway. As a result of suspicion on alcohol in the male’s blood, the officers demanded he provide a sample of breath into a roadside screening device. The male refused and became assaultive while being placed under arrest.
The 30 year old Bradford man was taken to the station and later released with a court date. His vehicle was impounded and licence suspended for 90 days.
