(Goderich, ON) – On March 25, 2011 at approximately 1:00 pm, Huron OPP officers were contacted by St. Mary’s Catholic School in Goderich reporting teens shooting guns in the adjacent property while the St. Mary’s students were outside in the yard.
Officers attended at the location and located the targets being used for shooting pellets. Any stray shots that missed the target were noted to have been capable of striking passing vehicles or pedestrians on Suncoast Drive.
Two people have been identified in this incident. Both were cooperative with police and are not believed to pose a further threat. The pellet guns have been seized and the investigation is continuing with the chance of charges being laid.
