(South Huron, ON) – The Huron OPP has received information of aggressive people attending at residences to test household water and then sell water filtration systems. In several cases, the people are claiming to be representing the municipality. We have been advised by the Municipality of South Huron that they are not sending out personnel to test water.
If you have any suspicious person come to your door and you do not feel comfortable with them, feel free to tell them to leave your property and close your door. If they fail to leave when directed, call 911. If possible, note descriptions of the person at the door and any vehicle involved so police can locate and identify them. LP11074050
