On the 13th of March 2014, Barrie Police responded to an east end residence pertaining to a possible domestic dispute. When police arrived it was revealed that a female was at her residence when she heard a noise at her window. As she attended to see what caused the noise she observed her ex-boyfriend had removed the screen of the window and was attempting to gain access to the residence through the window.
The two parties had been broken up for a few months and it is unclear of the males intent in gaining access to the females residence. During the investigation police observed that the male had actually damged the screen when he removed it from the window and he was subsequently arrested for Domestic Mischief.
The 25 year old male was transported to the station where he was held pending a bail hearing.
