The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On February 19, 2014 the man was released from custody with conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to attend court on March 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. On March 7, 2014 shortly after 9:00 a.m. the man’s name was called in the courtroom and in the hallway and he failed to respond. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning around 8:30 a.m. Gregory Couture, 27 years of King Street in Chatham attended police headquarters and turned himself in. He was charged with failing to attend court and released pending a future court date.
