On March 13, 2014 just after 10:30am, emergency responders attended 1360 Fairview Road, Cambridge in response to a reported residential house fire. Upon arrivalthe residents of the home had evacuated. The fire which began in the car port area of the residence was extinguished before it could spread to the main home. The home had extensive smoke, and water damage, fire damage was limited to the car port area. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical and not suspicious. On adult male resident received medical attention for minor burns. The family has made arrangements to stay with family and friends until repairs to the residence can be made.
