Drug Warrant Executed – David White, Wyatt Sturgeon and Cynthia EBY Face Charges

(TOWN OF SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Friday, March 14, 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of Bruce Peninsula OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Berford Street, Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant police seized cannabis marihuana, oxycodone pills, and offence related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia. The combined estimated value of the seized controlled substances was $6,213.00.

David White (35 years) of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Wyatt Sturgeon (18 years) of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Cynthia EBY (29 years of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, and 2 young persons, are each charged with possession of marihuana for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking. One of the young persons is also charged with 2 counts of failing to comply with the conditions of an Undertaking.

David White and the young person were held in custody for future bail hearings.
