Busy 24 hours of high enforcement

On March 17 and into the early hours of March 18, Guelph Police made an extended effort on pro-active high enforcement to help curb issues within the community due to St. Patricks Day partying. Starting at 11:32 a.m. with the first public liquor offence, police would have a total of 25 separate liquor related incidents leading to 37 Liquor License Act fines being handed out. Police also issued 8 public urination fines and made 7 public intoxication arrests.
