(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking the public’s assistance in obtaining information about a dog and pig that were found dead in the south ditch, east of C-Line on Blind Line, South Bruce Peninsula.
The pig was located wrapped up in a reinforced green garbage bag and had been there for a while due to the state of decomposition it was in.
The dog had not been there as long as the pig and appeared to be a female Mastiff type dog that may have been nursing puppies, the dog was not wrapped up.
Police have notified the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) and also the local By-Law on this matter.
The Bruce Peninsula OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police with this investigation to call 1-888-310-1122.
