(WALKERTON, ON) – On April 1st, 2011 at 12:46 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of a theft from the LCBO on Victoria Street North in Walkerton. 4 males stole a quantity of alcohol and left in a grey Chevrolet. A South Bruce OPP officer on patrol spotted the suspect vehicle travelling on County Road 3, Carrick Township. The vehicle was stopped and the occupants were found to have been involved in the LCBO theft. Further investigation revealed they were also involved with a theft at the LCBO on Broadway Street, Kincardine, earlier in the day. 3 adults and a young person have been arrested and charged for this incident. The accused can’t be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Officers recovered the stolen alcohol from the suspect vehicle.
