Barrie Police were called to an east end Hair salon for a break and enter in progress.
Police were told an unknown male was using a flashlight to look into windows and then was able to gain access via a door.
Police arrived within minutes and were preparing a K-9 to search the unit for the suspect.
However, it quickly became apparent the suspect” was in fact the owner of the salon who had atteneded his store to pick up some items.
