Early this morning at about 2:30 am along St. Clair Street in Tilbury, Police conducted a traffic stop on a dark Ford pick-up truck. Once stopped, the driver a 22-year old Tilbury man, decided to turn his vehicle around at which time he immediately came into contact with a second cruiser involved in the stop. There was very minor damage sustained to the vehicles involved and thankfully no one was injured as a result of this motor vehicle collision.
Subsequently, the accused was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Over 80 and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was lodged into cells and then later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
