Brockton, ON, July 5, 2018 – The Chief Fire Official for Brockton has issued a ban on open air fires.
The only exception are small, contained and supervised recreational fires used for warmth or cooking between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. that comply with Brockton’s Open Air Burn By-Law 2017-034.
This ban applies to all agricultural burns and is in place until further notice.
Please use extreme caution under the dry weather conditions.
