Security from a Bayfield Street Store called police with regards to a male that had been arrested for theft.
Police arrived and were informed that the male was in the store and cut open a package of tools to fit them into his pockets. On the way out of the store he ensured his capture by deliberately slicing open a bag of bird seed.
Police continued the arrest of the 32 year old Barrie resident charging him with Theft and Mischief under $5000 as well as failing to comply with his probation order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
