First $1,000 Rope Light Installed – Town Hall Fire Code Issues Still Ignored

As many of you know, our current council has put fire code issues
and leaky roofs at the bottom of their priority list.  If you
doubt that, watch the budget videos on YouTube.  Now you
probably think they must have something even more important to spend
OUR money on, obviously something way more important than fixing a
leaky roof, or bringing Town Hall up to fire code so the Heritage
Theatre could reopen. 

You are probably asking how the Wise Village Elders have decided to
utilize OUR resources.  You probably guessed it, it’s another
Pig Lipstick Project.  Why fix any of our problems when you can
buy pretty lights to drive up our electric bill.  They hope
these lights will distract the Public from the gross mismanagement
this town continues to suffer from. They expect us to react like a
dog does once someone points out a squirrel. 

The Wingham BIA Department is spending $30,000 on decorative
lights.  These lights cost $1,000 each! As you can see from the
photo below, it is simply rope lights zip-tied to a metal
frame.  This is a phenomenally profitable endeavor for whomever
suckered the town” into buying these.
