Canada’s May 2 election is fast approaching.While we’re still not sure if anybody really cares local candidates are ramping up their campaigns.
There are those who think this election,the country’s fourth in seven years is a waste of time & money. So the folks at Grumpy’s Old Time Eatery in Wingham have decided to conduct their own poll to get the feeling of Huron Bruce voters & at the same time raise money for a worthy cause.
Grumpy’s will have a jar marked with each candidates name in Huron Bruce plus one marked “doesn’t really matter†Deposit your vote(a coin of any denomination) in the jar of your choice. All money raised will be donated to the “Grumpy Gang†Relay for Life Team.
All candidates are welcome to drop by Grumpy’s and shoot the breeze with the voters and explain why they should receive our vote.
