(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Saturday April 16, 2011 shortly after 5 p.m. Perth County OPP officers were called to an incident at a residence on Line 4, West of St.Marys.
Upon police arrival an armed male had barricaded himself in the residence. Officers have closed off Line 4 between Perth Road 151 and Road 141. The OPP Western Region Emergency Response Team, the OPP Western Region Tactics and Rescue Unit and OPP Western Region Crisis negotiators are at the scene.
Residents of nearby rural residences have been advised to remain indoors until they have been advised that the incident is resolved.
