(BLUEWATER, ON) – A 29 year old male will have to make a court appearance following a traffic stop on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Just before 11:00 a.m. a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was observed speeding northbound on Bluewater Veterans Highway near Centennial Road. A Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer used a radar device to measure the vehicle’s speed at a high of 134 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Donald OETTING, 29, from Sarnia was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He has a court appearance scheduled for May 20, 2014 at Ontario Provincial Offences Court – Goderich. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
