Members of the High Enforcement Action Team patrolling the downtown area came across a male and female that drew attention to themselves. Upon further investigation the mother / son duo were both found to be in possession of controlled drugs.
Both parties were arrested. The 46 year old female was released on scene with a future court date for possession of cocaine. The 22 year old male was taken to the station and held for bail for the charges of possession of a non-prescribed drug and 3 counts of failing to comply with probation. He was also wanted for a theft that had occurred earlier on the same date.
